El 2014 Lara se unió a Singularity University, y construyó la red global de chapters que permitió la expansión internacional de SingularityU.
Desde Nueva York el 2019, unió fuerzas con tres de los organizadores de TEDx más consolidados y quienes también llevaron con éxito SingularityU a sus regiones: Kaila Colbin (Nueva Zelanda), Michel Levy-Provencal (Francia) y Stephan Balzer (Alemania) para desarrollar Boma a nivel global. Boma hoy opera en 9 países.
